Like many Baby Boomers with children grown and out on their own, we decided that is was time to downsize after twenty five years of living in a five bedroom home with almost two acres of manicured grounds. Years ago keeping up the house, yard and gardens was easy but at our current age it was becoming a difficult and unwanted chore. We were fortunate to sell our five bedroom home and make an offer on a beautiful detached condo in Bedford. After we accomplished the real estate transactions panic began to set in. Now we had to deal with what to do with extra furniture, where to put existing furniture, and where to find a reputable mover. The thought of unpacking “tons” of boxes was just maddening. While driving by our new condo, prior to closing, we noticed an estate sale being held. The sellers were moving to Florida and were not taking much of anything with them. We decided to go to the sale just to again see what we had purchase.
It was at the estate sale that we met Kathy Baldridge, owner of Lifetime, and her team who specialize in real estate, estate sales and move management. We asked Kathy to help us with our move. Her guidance made our move easy, enjoyable with no stress at all. Lifetime found an excellent mover and managed the packing of items from our original home. Each box was labeled with room assignments for our new home. After the move, four wonderful and extremely capable members of Kathy’s team came to our new home to unpack and put things away. Within two days all rooms were organized and all clothes neatly put away. Boxes were removed and by the third day we were fully functional in our new home.
